Wine Tours
The Portuguese countryside and it's wineries are unique. From the rolling plains of the Alentejo, the coastal regions around Setubal and Lisbon, to the magnificent Douro Valley - there is stunning scenery together with a whole range of wineries, large and small, new and traditional.
Knowing where to go and how to get there is however not so easy if you are visiting for the first time. We have therefore joined up with a local expert who will organise tours to some of these areas with the added bonus of getting you into some local wineries - most of whom will not allow visitors.
These tours start from Lisbon or the Algarve and you will be collected from and returned to your hotel. Your guide will be Chris Metcalfe an Australian who has moved to Portugal. You will be driven in small mini buses (maximum of 6 seats ) so it will be a very individual experience. Just sit back and let Chris do all the work.
